Our Kids in Action

2011 Keynote Speaker: Jamie Isaacs

Jamie Isaacs is 15 years old and a victim of intense bullying. Jamie considers herself a strong survivor due to the fact that the bullying started when she was in 2nd grade, at age 8, and lasted through 7th grade, at age 13.

The only reason the bullying stopped was because she was formally withdrawn from the school in which it occurred. Jamie's story is unlike any other bullying story that you have heard about or read. She decided to put her ordeal into words and comprise a book that would tell the powerful story of what she went through and what her parents did to keep her alive!

Most recently, Jamie has been involved with advocating a new proposed bill that would make cyberbullying a crime comparable to stalking.

As you are well aware of, bullying can lead to suicide. This is why Jamie found it necessary to be the founder of the Jamie Isaacs Foundation for Anti-Bullying, Inc.
