*Long Island Parent article features One Is Greater Than None, the Merrick-based teen-founded non-profit, on its cover. Liza Burby, Founder of Long Island Parent, has declared a “Reader’s Challenge” asking her readers- and all Long Islanders- to donate funds to One Is Greater Than None and sponsor a RAM/Remote Area Medical weekend where 1000+ Americans will receive FREE medical care. Her goal is to raise at least $3,500. (Just think: If 350 families each donated $10 we’d reach the goal quickly.)
